SOG Aegis MT Compact Multi-Tool for Outdoor Use

The Aegis MT Multi-Tool is a compact and lightweight outdoor companion to the Aegis knife family. Its ambidextrous design features a tough GRN ergonomic handle with a grip pattern specifically designed for outdoor use, whether it's wet or dry, and with or without gloves. The sharp CRYO 440 stainless steel clip point blade provides excellent edge retention and resistance to corrosion, making it suitable for a variety of cutting chores.

This multi-tool holds five essential tools, including needle nose pliers with SOG's patented Compound Leverage, a soft wire cutter, tweezers, a bottle opener, and a 1.9-inch 440 stainless steel clip point blade. The Compound Leverage feature generates greater handle travel in relation to plier movement, offering twice the cutting and gripping power of conventional pliers for smoother and easier use.

The Aegis MT is the result of our company's rich history. Our story begins in Vietnam, where a highly classified US special ops unit - known as MACV-SOG - carried a unique combat knife into the jungle on covert missions. Inspired by this, a young designer named Spencer Frazer founded SOG Specialty Knives in 1986 with the mission to reproduce the original SOG Bowie knife and pay tribute to the special ops unit that created it. Today, our knives are carried with confidence into the most demanding situations and are field-proven by US Special Forces.
