The next evolution of the field-proven Trident, the AT-XR Lock is SOG's patented Assisted Technology (AT) XR Lock, delivering fast, one-handed open and solid lock-up once open. Reliable and powerful, it is able to withstand 1500 pounds of force, providing the ultimate built-in blade locking security when open and ensuring it only opens when intended.

Safety 2.0 is the result of SOG working with users to develop an ambidextrous safety that is both easy and fast to use. Designed to be intuitive and utilize natural hand movements, it means you don’t have to break your grip to operate it. Once open, it locks in place as a thumb backstop, making it everything a safety should be.
